How to Buy a Sugar Glider in the Philippines

Bringing a joey home should feel considered, not rushed. Here is exactly how reserving one works with us, from the first message to the day it settles into your home. Four steps, no surprises, and a real person on the other end of each one.

Step 1: Call and tell us about your home

You call us at +63 945 995 0591 and tell us a little about your setup: who lives there, whether anyone has kept gliders before, and the temperament or colour you are drawn to. This is not a sales pitch. It is how we match you to the right animal instead of the first one available. Prefer to text first? The same number works.

Step 2: We match and give you the price

On the call we talk through the joeys that suit your home, with honest temperament notes on each, and the exact price for the pairing you want. Our joeys start at ₱13,000 with papers included, and we tell you straight where your pairing lands. If a bonded pair will serve you better than a single, we will say so and explain why. You decide with full information, not pressure.

Step 3: Reserve and prepare

A reservation holds your joey and stops it being offered to anyone else. While it finishes weaning, you get the setup list: the right enclosure, the diet, and the few things worth buying before arrival rather than after. We would rather you over-prepare for a week than scramble on day one.

Step 4: In-person delivery with paperwork

We hand your joey over in person, so you meet the animal and we meet you. It comes with full DENR documentation, ownership recorded in your name, and a care brief specific to that animal. We walk you through the first nights, the bonding pouch, and what is normal in week one. Then we stay reachable, because the early weeks are where most owners have questions.

What the paperwork covers

Every purchase includes the legal documentation that makes your ownership clean and registered. This is the line that separates a properly run breeder from a stall seller, and it matters: an undocumented exotic is a risk you carry for the life of the animal. You will never have to wonder about the status of a glider that came from us.

A note on bonded pairs

Sugar gliders are colony animals. A single glider with an attentive owner can do well, but many quietly struggle alone. If you cannot give several hours of daily interaction, a bonded pair is kinder and usually easier. We will give you the straight version for your situation before you commit.
